Early in 2012, Spenco Medical Corporation, a leader in the orthotic industry for over 40 years, approached MINT to design, develop and expand their fledging footwear program while promoting a comfort-with-style story. With 20+ years of experience, MINT was able to skillfully combine its footwear product knowledge, brand positioning, and market trend insights with Spenco’s proprietary Total Support Technology and insole heritage, enabling them to become a major competitor in the comfort orthotic footwear market.
Since then, season after season, MINT has lead the exploration into expanding markets for Spenco by developing innovative designs and creating eye-catching sales/marketing materials, all the while elevating their visual image through photography, print and digital media creations.
Coming to know the product intimately over five years time, Spenco commissioned MINT to envision and create a fashion forward icon brand where style meets comfort in a feminine silhouette. Tulipa was born.
